Nikos Anadiotis: I am a sinner so I go to church, if I were a saint I would not go

The well-known actor spoke to the camera of the show “MEGA Good morning” about his relationship with God, monasticism and his nomination for the European Parliament with the party of “Victory”. “At the rally held in Athens on the recently passed bill (p. on equality in marriage) I participated. I was approached by Mr. Natsios, I saw things I liked, we fit in too many views and we came closer and the proposal came to me. Many sent me a personal message and wished me to become a Member of Parliament. I’ve worked with homosexuals. I’ll apologize again through my soul if I’ve ever insulted anyone. My religion tells me homosexuality is a sin, that’s what I believe. The sexual act of two homosexuals is a sin as between two heterosexuals when they make it out of marriage.” As Nikos Anadiotis himself says “homosexuality is not the only sin, the greatest sin is condemnation. I am a sinner so I go to church, if I were a saint I would not go.” “The Church is a healing room, it is the hospital of my soul. Now it’s fasting season, here I’m going to abstain from normal food, will I mind abstaining from the love act?”, adds the actor. Nikos Anadiotis then said: “I am a couple with a wife I love, I honor her over myself and my children. I can’t do without her deal. I feel a blessing that there was this revelation in my life, God is revealed to man.” For his comments on homosexuality, the actor noted: “I do not consider myself racist or homophobic. I think if I were single, I’d even think about loneliness. If my son told me he felt ‘other’, I would support him and explain how he should save his soul. You don’t lose your soul just because you’re gay. There are many sins that can lead you to the loss of your soul,” Nikos Anadiotis said.
