The new hotel unit of 5 stars, which is planning to construct the group, utilizing an area of 41 acres, with the name Sani Dunes will have a capacity of 136 rooms and suites (80 junior suites & panorama junior suites, 56 double, twin & family rooms), three restaurants, a building with a covered pool and spa.
The group has obtained the necessary permits and plans to start work on the 1st of October, in order to operate the hotel in mid-June of 2017. According to the group, the speed of implementation and operation of the hotel unit, in the space of just 8,5 months, will be an unprecedented event for the Greek data.
One of the distinctive features in the context of operational running of the hotel is that it will be offered for families with children over the age of 12 years. The total investment will amount to 24,2 million. euro, without in the amount to be calculated the value of the land.
At the same time, the coming winter season will be implemented investment program of eur 13.3 million. euro in the hotel complex Sani Club. The investment includes the reconstruction and extension 46 junior suites and the addition of 16 new with individual swimming pools.
Also, it will create new restaurant, bar and swimming pool for adults, as well as building with a covered heated swimming pool.
It is noted that the Sani and the Ikos Resorts have been included in the new group, while maintaining, however, the independent presence of their. The Ikos control of two luxury hotels in Halkidiki, the Ikos Oceania and Ikos Olivia. The Ikos, in turn, has planned this new investment. In particular, during the forthcoming winter period it has been decided that the implementation of a programme which will include the complete reconstruction of the total of 298 rooms of the hotel Ikos Oceania. The budget of the investment programme will amount to 11.2 million. euro.
Main shareholders of the new group is the Stavros and Andreas Andreadis and investment funds managed by the american Oaktree Capital Management, while in the new scheme involved investment funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Hermes GPE, as well as funds of private foreign firms. According to information, the Ikos will proceed directly to substantial new investment, with the aim of inclusion in the group of new hotel units in popular tourist destinations in the country.
