New Ionia: Fire in an apartment – two women were freed

Alarm signaled Wednesday morning (20.3.2024) in the Fire Department as residents are trapped after a fire broke out inside the house in . According to information, shortly after 9 the Fire Department received a call for fire in a 2nd floor apartment on Alexander Panagouli Street in Nea Ionia. At the point 12 firefighters, 4 vehicles and a special armchair vehicle were rushed. Two women had been trapped on the balcony of the burning apartment and managed to descend from the stairwell. The fire is already under control.
