Nemanja Bielica announced his withdrawal from basketball

He announced his withdrawal from basketball, with international Serbian forward at the age of 35 leaving the courts. Nemanja Bielica wanted to make known through his personal account on the instagram that he would retire from playing basketball, with the 35-year-old Serbian athlete saying goodbye after 20 years of career. Bielica who, among other things, has won an NBA championship in 2022 with the Golden State Warriors, this season has failed to compete, due to a serious injury to the calf. This resulted in him making the decision to withdraw from active action, after a fairly important career with several titles and individual distinctions. See this post on Instagram. Bielica had begun his professional career in the Austrian Triskirchen Lions team (2007-08), competed in the Red Star the following two years (2008-10) and moved to Spain where he played in Basconia for three seasons (2010)-13. It followed a two-year period in Fenerbahce (2013-15). With Fenerbahce he emerged a Euroleague MVP in 2015 and a member of the best five, and also emerged a top Serbian player. At Turkey level, Bielica won the league (2014) and the Cup (2013). In Euroleague he participated in 109 matches (with Basconia and Fenerbahce), having an average of 8.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 22 minutes attendance. Nemanja Bielica then crossed across the Atlantic on behalf of the Minnesota Timberwolves (2015–18). From 2018 to 2021 he wore the Sacramento Kings jersey, and also passed Miami Heat in 2021. The year 2021-22 would be the one to give him the NBA champion’s ring with the Golden State Warriors. In 449 games, in the NBA, with Timberwolves, Kings, Heat and Warriors, he had 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds average per match.
