More than 600,000 civil servants in Greece – Increased their number!

tovima.gr, in June the number of permanent staff was 564.015, from 680.000 that was in 2010 when the country entered in the Memorandum, however, today the number of employees remains quite large.
This is because if you consider outside of the permanent staff and those employees who are operators ‘satellites’ of the public sector as they are called, who are above 1,800 and if it is included, and the extraordinary staff, the sum of more than 600,000.
The last census, and the official records of the Registry of Human Resources the Greek State, indicate that in June the number of civil servants amounted to 564.915 (regular staff of the Greek Public unless a private entity) decreasing by 408 workers who took retirement. The corresponding number in May, just a month ago, it was 565.323.
As regards the temporary staff outside of a private entity for the same months, the course is recorded downward as follows:
Fixed-term – contract – hourly: 54.611 June 2016 from 71.699 in May, with most of them, 27.737 people, to be employed in the local authorities (municipalities – Regions).
The μετακλητοί, elected officials, presidents, BOARD members, management bodies, in the same months, inventory was compiled as follows:
Μετακλητοί: 2.004 in June of 1.984 in May 2016.
Elected: 7.585 of 7.552 in May 2016.
Presidents / BOARD members / management bodies: 909 people from 903 in May.
With regard to the tactical staff of Legal Persons in Private Law (private law), recorded a small increase of 30 people and is 33.440 workers vis-a 33.410 May.
And the exceptional staff of Legal Persons in Private Law (private law), we observe an increase in the 10.111 people in June compared 9.951 May.
Other special cases: to 14,400 in June from 14.271 in May.
