the Rowing and canoeing Centre in Pamvotis Lake of Ioannina, the second Phase of the Panhellenic Championship Rowing which included the categories of Children – Girls and A.M.E.A.
The Municipal Nautical Club of Igoumenitsa has participated with 25 athletes who staffed 7 crews, won 5 overall medals (2 silver, 3 bronze) and after the completion of the 82ου pan-Hellenic Championship of Rowing in all categories (men/women), under 23, teen/junior and children’s/girls’) won the 4th place in the general classification.
All the crews of the board.N.The.The. they fought in the finals and the athletes, aged 14 to 16 years of age, were classified as follows :
Silver Medal :
– John Stephania, Î’ÎÏμπη ΦλωÏÎνια (2X sculls girls)
– Anastasios Tap (2X skiff A.M.E.A.)
Bronze Medal
– Κώτσια Savina (2X skiff A.M.E.A.)
– Κλεφτάκης Andreas, Κάτσενος Peter, Κλεφτάκης Kon/nos, John Theodore (4κωπος children)
– ΜπÎζας Jason, Greece Sotirios, Greece Spyridon, Karvounis Spyridon, Greece Georgios, Georgakis Spyridon, Stathis, Panagiotis, Μυγδάλης Basil, Curly Kon/nos (8κωπος after helmsman and children).
Fourth place
– Loop in Margarita, Christofides, Evgenia – Maria (2κωπος girls)
Fifth place
– Κάτσιου Wisdom, Καλαγάνη Victoria, ΜατÏακοÏκα Freedom, Koulouri Luminous (4κωπος girls).
We congratulate the athletes and their coaches, Κιτσάτη Constantine, Κοτσινή Peter and ΜπÏÎστα Anna, who proved that the hard and systematic work always brings success and that they cashed the labours of the whole year, with this big league success for our Association.
In particular we congratulate the athletes of our class A. M.E.A. Anastasios Faucet and Savina Κώτσια and coach Anna ΜπÏÎστα ,for the excellent appearance of them, which made you proud in our Association, giving it two national medals.
We thank the βαλκανιονίκες of our athletes, escorts crews, Etc.M.E.A. Δημάκο Eleftherios and Snake Constantine, for their invaluable help.
