Maria Sakkari – Iga Sfiontek: Time for “fight” title at Indian Wells

Two years later, the two tennis players will be faced for the 6th time in their careers, with Sakkari having the 3–2 lead, but the holder of four Grand Slams having won the last two and the 2022 Indian Wells final, with a comfortable 2-0 set (6–4, 6-1). The Greek champion (No9 in the world) will thus be the underdog, but she will have less “pressure”, which has often stood in the way for her in the courtesies. The goal of course is the second title in a 1000-yard tournament after last year in Guadalajara, with the big game at Indian Wells scheduled for 20:00 Greek time.
