Manchester City – Newcastle 2–0: Bernardo Silva sent the “citizens” to the UK Cup semifinals

With Bernardo Silva waving twice the Newcastle nets, she won the 2-0 win in the win-out match of “Etihad” and secured a place in his semi-finals. Manchester City took less than 20 minutes in its first half home match with Newcastle, to get the qualification to the UK Cup semifinals. The “citizens” won 2–0 in “Etihad” and after Coventry became the second team to secure the “citizenship” for the fourth of the oldest football institution on the island. Big protagonist of Pep Guardioola’s team was Bernardo Silva, who opened the score in 13–1 and 31–1 with a sufficient dose of luck (the ball after the shot he attempted found in the leg and then in the head of Newcastle players, before ending in the nets) gave a procedural character to the rest of the match, which in Part II was held under torrential rain.
