Ares’ motive still unknown that led to the February 12, 2024 and the murder of three people. The 70-year-old had invaded a shipping company in Glyfada on Monday morning (12/02/2024) and opened fire resulting in three people losing their lives before he committed suicide. The perpetrator, after scattering death, ended his life in the basement of the building with the shotgun, which was found next to him. The report on the LIVE NEWS show on the case focused on communication that the perpetrator of Egyptian origin had before the murderous attack he launched. The report states that based on the new evidence, the device of the shooter’s cell phone had not been found, and thus a confidentiality waiver was made on his number. From there the basic question is restored where he lived for as long as he was in Athens before the murderous attack he made. From the research done – according to the report by Vassilis Lambropoulos – it emerged that on that morning the perpetrator had contacted an approximately 60-year-old shipping company employee and appeared to have told him that he would go to the offices in order to offer some gifts from the island. The particular person who had contact with the perpetrator, according to the police editor, has been called up by Attica Security for testimony and asked what was involved in this particular conversation, where he said he had not realized that the perpetrator had been with the family and also did not come to his attention that he would do anything wrong. He also reported that 76-year-old Mars, as the perpetrator was called, probably lived in a house in Piraeus, but without being able to know the witness who spoke to Attica Security to whom this house belongs and this house remains unknown to the authorities yet.
