“Live Without Intimidation”: a Renewed electronic “roof” for the internet-based anti-bullying

On 19-9-2016 launched the new revamped site …www.livewithoutbullying.com the program “Live Without Intimidation”. The program is an initiative of the Centre of Care Family and Child care (KMOP) and implemented in collaboration with the Adolescent Health Unit of the Hospital For.and A. Kyriacou and of the European Program “ENABLE”.
Having already attracted a large number of children and adults (parents – teachers) who were web-based (online) counseling for issues of school and cyber-bullying, the specially designed online platform www.livewithoutbullying.com, upgraded with the goal of providing a fully functional and useful free tool for any kid/adolescent problems of bullying. At the same time, the platform is adapted to use by mobile and tablet (responsive design), making it even more easy navigation of the users.
For access to counselling services, children and adolescents aged 10-18 years, by doing a free registration on the platform, they can anonymously and safely, to talk to online (online chat) with a qualified advisor about the problem they are facing. The chat is open Monday to Friday from 17.00 pm.m. up to 22.00 m.m. At the same time, adults (parents – teachers) can with a free registration, to have access to the a specially designed forum, to ask for the opinion of an expert as well as to exchange views, all the days and hours of the week.
Also, the new platform now offers free access to the electronic libraries of children and adults so that each visitor can draw for this informative material around the intimidation while the space of adult hosts, a new column of articles in which experts and professionals speak not only for intimidation but also on matters of general interest relating to children and adolescents.
