The German police for a terrorist attack.
The AFP talks about several dead (speak of 9 dead and at least 50 injured, citing police sources.
In accordance with the DPA, the police believe it was a terrorist attack. A representative of the German authorities, however, described it as a “serious incident”.
According to the police arrested one man as a suspect in the attack while a second driver is reportedly dead.
In accordance with what has been stated by the witness on CNN: “I’m not an expert, but I can tell you is that the truck was moving at about 40 miles per hour (64 km.) and it didn’t seem to brake at all”.
