The 40th and last place in the ranking of the Global Competitiveness Index in the Industrial Sector of the Deloitte Greece is facing, while, worse still, the projections indicate that even after 5 years, the our country will continue to be last.
As reported in the “Imerisia”, the relevant list of Deloitte is based on a depth analysis of the responses of more than 500 ceos and top business executives in a survey conducted among companies of the global industry, and the classification was based on the current and future competitiveness in the industrial sector, of the 40 countries examined.
Most competitive member in the global industrial sector within five years is expected to emerge as the united states, while China, which is currently at the top seems to fall in the second position.
North America and Asia dominate the competitive landscape. From the B. America stand USA, Mexico and Canada that featured the top 10 positions.
As regards the Asian region, 5 states are expected to be in the top ten by 2020: China, Japan, India, Korea and Taiwan.
For Europe there are only 2 locations in Germany and the United Kingdom to represent the Old continent in the top 10 by 2020.
