Kate Middleton: “She kept it hidden for her children, should be ashamed of trolls” – Royal photographer breaks out

In moving words, Royal photographer Arthur Edwards talks about the battle he is fighting with . “What courage it would take for the poor woman to tell people that she is suffering from cancer. Now we know that the only reason she kept it secret was for the sake of her children,” says Arthur Edwards, who has been following the royal family for over 45 years as photojournalist of the Sun newspaper. Speaking to the Sun, Arthur Edwards notes… “Cancer is a word that scares everyone and chemotherapy is a hard enough cure and the body must be strong to bear it. Catherine has a great will and determination I’ve seen in person since the day I first photographed her. Catherine’s statement took a lot of courage and told us that the reason she kept her cancer secret so far is for the sake of her children. With William’s support I am sure they will fight.” He then breaks out for those who had rushed to comment on Kate Middleton’s absence lately. “I wonder how the trolls who made such ridiculous allegations about this amazing woman feel now. Let’s hope they feel good and are really ashamed of the madness that has prevailed in recent weeks. And so should I. Now they know how serious her illness has been since January, I hope the madness behind wild rumors and crazy speculations is over, so Catherine is left alone with her husband and family, fully recovering with her time. Cancer is a word that scares everyone and chemotherapy is a hard enough cure and the body must be strong to bear it. When I heard the news yesterday, they moved me back to the day I took pictures of their engagement. I remember asking William “why were you divorced with Katherine?” He said: “Because I had to be sure. I want this marriage to last forever.” Following their couple in royal responsibilities, I see their ultimate love is real. The way they always find time to turn and smile at each other and have small secret conversations reminds me of the queen and Duke of Edinburgh whose marriage lasted seven decades. This genuine love between William and Kate is what will make them overcome her ordeal and her adventure with cancer. I was not surprised that when Kate went to the hospital, William immediately stopped work and took over family management, taking the children to school, taking their lessons, reading them – all that Mom would do. Her statement on the video is wonderful, speaking of her love for William and his love for her and the children. However, while reporting that she had William on her side, Kate also had her thoughts on the other people facing the same illness. In the last line of her incredible statement she asked other cancer patients to “please, do not lose faith or hope”. You are not alone.’ This shows how special and caring this woman is. Cancer strikes many families, but how remarkable it is that with all the trolls and conspiracy theories that have swirled around her, Katherine thinks of other people,” Arthur Edwards says. “Kate’s moving statement will give comfort to millions of others” “A dear friend of mine is suffering from cancer right now and like so many others he lives in the hope of a cure. Kate’s moving statement will give comfort to him and millions of others. She is a very caring person, but now she needs much tender care and affection and will have them from her family. I suspect he must have had discussions with King Charles who is also fighting cancer. He does his best to continue without risking infections, meeting people… I have covered the daily life of the royal family for nearly 50 years, but the events in their lives surprise even me. How strange that both had surgery at the same hospital that same week and now find out they have cancer. But, thank God, they made it and we hope it won’t be long before they get back. They both work hard for our country. By then Kate needs to rest, not have distress and anxiety obligations and meetings. She has to give up all this and focus on getting better again. Meanwhile, trolls must stop being vicious for a woman whose only role in life is to do what is best for the country. It is a job he has undertaken knowing he will be at the center, with everyone watching what he does,” says the royal photographer. “But she is ready to accept it. For her husband’s love she will do as much as possible to protect their children from it, until they reach an age that they can face alone. He did everything he could to keep us informed. It took a lot of courage to do that. But the fact that she has put her children first shows you what a wonderful mother and wonderful wife she is. Get well soon, Kate, forget the trolls, focus on the good things and that you’re in rehab. We are happy to wait until you are ready and I look forward to working with you again,” concludes Arthur Edwards.
