It is the only Greek village crossed by a river.

It might seem incredible, because as soon as you see the pictures that follow will tell…
“No way,” but this beautiful village really is in Greece.
What’s weird about it? It is the only Greek village, divided in the middle by a river Aoos. Yeah, that’s right. It looks like the villages you see in the movies.

The name of the village is Cotton and is the northernmost and most remote village of East Zagori of Epirus.
The village “welcomes you” with a large stone bridge which is from 1748 and connects the two neighborhoods on the right and left of the river. Under the bridge has created a dam which forms a beautiful natural pool perfect for a bathroom during the summer months.

It is the northernmost village of East Zagori.
