Ioannina: a Pioneering Program for distance Learning in the arsakeio school of Primary School of Ioannina

unique opportunity to participate in the Training Workshop through the program “ΤηλΕστία” implemented by the “Hearth of Knowledge of Chalkida”, on the site of the School.
This workshop included
video conferencing-tele-education with the 5th and the 15th Primary School of Chalkida and was held for the first time in Greece, with Elementary students.
In the Meeting – Teleconference speakers were professors and associates of the University of Athens with the issues of Astronomy and Educational Robotics.
The pilot action was attended by apart from the students and teachers of two cities, School Consultants of Primary Education, University Professors, as well as in charge of the MINISTRY.E.E.Th. dealing with distance education with the aim of something similar to be implemented by the Ministry in remote schools in the country.
The aim of this innovative action was to strengthen the interest of the children for scientific issues and to communicate with their peers outside of Ioannina.
