it was found that the unprecedented situation into which it has fallen in the Park. The sad and alarming situation concerning the almost total destruction and desiccation of the lakes and the channel of the Park, which has already lead to a multitude of dead animals. The unprecedented neglect and indifference of the State and of the competent bodies have reached a point not only to detract from the character and purpose of the creation of the Park, one of the largest αδόμητους public areas of the basin, but also result in total destruction.
The responsibilities many. On the one hand, the ASDA, the responsibility of which is until today the Park, slow systematically, not having carried out the minimum actions required for the care of the Park which has taken over and without informing virtually anyone about the most serious problems facing the Park at this time. On the other hand, phenomenal is the negligence of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (RIS), which, although it has delegated to the ASDA responsible for the management of the Park, has not given the body the slightest funding.




Cannot be understood the fact that the State is indifferent to the ongoing destruction of the Park and that the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, mr. Ioannis Tsironis, defers for two years the management of the Park in the future and in new bodies that will inevitably take time to work.
I can also understood nor is the fact that the ongoing, maybe irreversible, damage to not overwhelm and does not involve the RIS and ASDA, in order to find at least now a direct technical solution to avoid the total destruction of the lakes and wildlife of the Park.
The Hellenic Ornithological society, which with the Environmental Education programs that implements in the Park since 2005, is the most basic, perhaps a body that fulfils one of the main purposes of the Park.Tritsis”, that of environmental awareness, sounding the alarm and calls on all relevant actors to finally assume their responsibilities and to act immediately.
