In Parliament the new measures for the cheapest agricultural electricity tariff

The provisions for implementing them for which they include debt regulation and ensuring competitive costs from renewable energy (RES) plants are included in an amendment tabled to the House. The new measures for the newly announced agricultural electricity tariff are based primarily on bilateral long-term (at least ten-year) supply contracts for electricity to farmers. The amendment provides for the connection of these RES modules to the networks as a priority, and for outstanding debts up to 31.12.2023 the possibility of interest-free regulation is provided as the State undertakes to pay interest to suppliers. There is also an absolute priority for renewable energy-efficient industries. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, prices for agricultural current are as follows: – For the first two years: Owners of rural power connections belonging to cooperative schemes or carrying out symbolic farming without dues: 9.3 minutes per kilowatt hour Other holders of rural current connections without dues: 9,8 minutes per kilowatt hour Farm current connections holders belonging to cooperative schemes or carrying out symbolic farming with due maturity: 10,5 minutes per kilowatt hour Other holders of agricultural current connections with outstanding debts: 11 minutes per kilowatt hour – For the remaining 8 years for 1/3 of the consumption of these benefits the price is single and is shaped at 9 minutes per kilowatt hour.
