In favour of the reintroduction of collective bargaining agreements the Antonopoulou

“The activation of the mechanism of extension of collective labour contracts and the introduction of more favourable regulation will contribute substantially to addressing…
the acute inequalities that have been created in the world of work by 2010″, he noted, among other things, the deputy minister of Labour, responsible for the Fight against Unemployment Rania Antonopoulou, during her intervention at the conference organised on 23 and 24 February in Brussels, the European Commission and the International Labour Organisation.
The support for the reintroduction of collective bargaining agreements expressed, during the deliberations of the conference and the secretary general of the ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Germany, Yasmin Φαχίμι.
As stated in a relevant announcement of the ministry of Labour, the work of the conference focused on the impact of the increase in inequality in european social policies, but also on the prospects of reform of the european economy, with particular emphasis on the role of industrial relations.
Mrs Antonopoulou, speaking at a round table on the theme “Industrial relations and inequalities: The political point of view and perspective”, he stressed that the main source of employment inequality is the rapid increase of unemployment, in the last few years, in several countries of the European Union, with most characteristic example the case of Greece. He repeated, before the bonds, the proposal for exemption from the primary surpluses of the funds intended for the support of the unemployed in countries where unemployment rates or long-term unemployment rates exceed by 3% the european average.
