The aim of the Meeting of the Mediterranean Countries of the european union.E. (Greece, France, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta) convened by the prime Minister, is, as stress-governmental sources, “the strengthening of cooperation and coordination to ensure that the euro-mediterranean countries to strengthen their contribution to the european agenda and strengthen their imprint on this”.
According to information, there are three key pillars that will form the topics of discussion that will take place between mr Tsipras, the president of France Francois Hollande, the president of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades, prime minister of Italy Matteo Meet, the prime minister of Portugal Antonio Costa, the prime minister of Malta Joseph Muscat and a high-ranking member of the Spanish government:
a) foreign policy Issues.E. with a focus on regional security and peace.
(b) Development with an emphasis on tackling unemployment, strengthening social cohesion and attract investment.
(c) a European policy for the immigrant – refugee.
The work session will begin at noon Friday at the Zappeion Megaron. Initially there will be a discussion of the heads, in which I participate, and their partners. After the family photo, the debate will continue in the framework of a working lunch exclusively among the leaders and will follow the statements of the leaders.

The prime Minister in his speech at the meeting of socialist heads of state and government, in Paris, where he participated as an observer stressed the need for there to be a common attitude in the direction of seeking to strengthen the existing weak development tools, “by transferring resources to the South and the region”.
