How to go from Athens international airport to Larissis railway station?

We are a family of 4 reaching Athens airport at 1345 in the afternoon. What is the recommended way to go to the Larissa station in central Athens? Our hotel is 400 m away from Larissa station. Please share any website which has the train timetable listed. Will the train be too crowded? We do have a lot of luggage for our 4 day stay in Athens. . Is taking a train advisable at the time we are reaching? Thank you in advance.
