How the new tax bill “unblocks” the publication of information

The competent services are ready to implement the interoperable link between public bodies, with the aim of faster and more efficient service to taxpayers, as divided on Thursday (21.3.2024) in presenting the young man from his leadership and AADE. So, even before the tax bill of the Subic passes through the voting process in parliament, the “machines” work in full to align themselves with the new needs. Interoperability between public bodies is, moreover, only part of the digital upgrading of the relationship between citizens and tax administration, which aspires to solve many of the past’s pathogens and by consolidating the trust between them to cultivate tax consciousness, as Deputy Minister Harry Theocharis pointed out. Direct communication between the different public services, particularly with regard to TTAs, intends to accelerate procedures by saving the citizen from waiting and suffering from the delay in issuing information due to earlier unfinished business. This will be done with the faster, digitised, consultation between public bodies without the involvement of the citizen. In this way, the commitments to grant will be lifted faster , which have so far delayed the issue of tax information for earlier debts, for example, to the municipalities, even if they had been repaid. It is recalled that another step towards the faster service of citizens had taken place last year when AADE “upgraded” the special electronic application to myDATA for the immediate issue of tax information, if the total outstanding debts did not exceed EUR 30 and the necessary conditions were met, i.e. the required declarations had been submitted and no commitment was made. Thus, with the direct communication of public services, any previous obstacles and delays have been removed. The citizen will be served quickly and digitally in all steps of the process of publishing his tax information.
