The International, Humanitarian and Independent Organisation “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center and the Friends of the Intensive care Unit Nursing Neonatal Incubator of Love”, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on November 8, 2016.
The vision of “Hope For Children†CRC Policy Center is to contribute to the protection and promotion of the rights of the child and to support the active participation of children and young people in society. His goal is to uphold and protect the rights of children, regardless of their nationality, on the basis of the Ï€ÏοτÏπα and principles of the United Nations, European and Regional Conventions on the Rights of the Child and the legislation of the European Union.
The Association of the Friends Unit neonatal Intensive care Neonatal Incubator of Love”, develops a series of actions, including: the promotion of knowledge and awareness about the health problems of infants, and the peculiarities of premature newborns in all stages of life, addressing the social, psychological and economic problems of the patient and of his family arising from neonatal disorders, while at the same time communicates and collaborates with organisations abroad with common goals and organizes events on the theme of the perinatal care.
In the framework of this Memorandum of Cooperation, the two Organisations will work to inform the public on issues relating to the impact on children, young people and the family, but also with the organization of collective programmes, events and seminars.
This cooperation creates the possibility for the exchange of knowledge, information and ideas with the members of the national, regional and european Parliaments of the member states of the European Union, but of the neighbouring countries, with a view to influence policy-making on children and youth. Will be provided on a permanent basis, psychological support to families who experience premature birth as well as training through educational programs to professionals in the field of health with a view to the improvement of maternal and neonatal health.
“This new and promising cooperation, underlines the commitment of the two Organisations for the protection of every child and to promote the rights of the child and the family”, a statement of the President of the “Incubator of Love”. The Director-General of “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center stressed the importance of cooperation with such an active link with a very important contribution to the Cypriot society, such as the “Incubator of Love”.
