Heraklion: The apartment for refugees, in Gazi, offers Manolis Velivasakis

A touching message on his personal page on Facebook, wait… the Mayor of Crete, Costas Μαμουλάκη. The President of the World Council of Cretans, Manolis Velivasakis, informed Kostas Μαμουλάκη that offers the apartment in Gazi in order to accommodate a family of refugees, for as long as needed!
The message of the M. Βεληβασάκη mentioned features:
“Dear Mayor, good morning! My apartment in Gazi is available to host a refugee family for as long as needed! Regards, Manolis Velivasakis”
“The Cretans, wherever they are, they don’t forget”
The Mayor of Crete, Costas Μαμουλάκης in a statement stressed: “The Cretans wherever they are, whatever position they hold, they don’t forget and are not indifferent. The offer of Manolis Βεληβασάκη, of a man who is proud, not only the Malevizi and the island of Crete, but our country all over the world, is yet another proof for that. I am sure that this example of solidarity, will be the first of many of our fellow citizens, and Crete, it will send a strong message of support and solidarity to our fellow citizens that are being tested.
I would like to publicly thank Manolis Βεληβασάκη, to wish him to always be robust and strong to continue to make us proud in the whole world”.
