Heraklion: Priest asks people to shoot stray animals and animal lovers

In the arrest of a 50-year-old in a village, the Police moved on, as it motivated an animal and animal-friendly shooting! According to ekriti.gr, it is a priest who, in an electronic media post in Heraklion on the occasion of news of the killing of lambs by stray dogs in a village of Gortyna Municipality, wrote that both stray dogs and animal friends should be shot! His comment fell to the perception of animal friends who went on to a complaint against him. Authorities tracked him down and arrested him for the offence of urging him to commit crimes of violence. After being informed also the Archdiocese of Crete, the priest was released. From his point of view, and since the issue took proportions, he apologized and said he was not a man of violence and that he did not want to cause any trouble.
