From the political office of Kostas Karamanlis issued the following statement:
“Passed this morning, in the Hospital, “Henry Dunant hospital”, after a long battle with cancer, John Angel, a close associate and bosom friend of mr. Kostas Karamanlis since 1981.
John Angel was born in 1950 and he was a lawyer, a graduate of the Law School of the ARISTOTLE university of thessaloniki. He was married to mrs. Alexandra mourtza location, with whom he had two children, Angelos and Dimitris.
The funeral service will take place on Monday 11 April at 14:30 at the Church of Saint Dionysius the Areopagite. Will follow the burial at the B Cemetery of Athens.
The request of the family, instead of crowns, the money to be allocated in favour of the Greek anti-Cancer society”.
