He who sows the wind, shall reap the whirlwind…

Writes the Angel Τσιγκρής
A lawyer – a Professor of Police ΑκαδημίαςΌσοι take decisions in the sensitive area of public order will have to decide with… sobriety, especially in times of crisis and social decomposition, such as the one our country is experiencing.
Much more, when a society is under collapse, is experiencing moments of tension and panic. All of this because:
1. When the “river” of the people’s anger is raging, no one and nothing can stop it.
2. When the “wave” of social discontent swells, no breakwater is not able to intercept.
3. When the protests on the streets are παλλαϊκές, any barricade is not able to prevent.
4. When the new generation reacts massively on without anaesthetic lobotomy of her dreams, a police practice may not be the silence.
The only thing that can achieve this kind of practices is the transformation of the test of social indignation, uncontrollable rage, and if that happens there will be serious and totally customized responsibilities.
In order discharged the social tension, but also to effectively address the phenomena of violence of any type, you will need to make a concerted effort to improve the indicators of social pathogenesis that is endemic in our country.
Must be concerted efforts to reduce unemployment, especially of young people, to increase the standard of living and the educational level of the citizens, to enhance the social state, to provide opportunities to young people and to ensure the means for their achievement, to redefine the objectives of the new generation, to reduce the gap between rich and poor, to mitigate inequalities, to integrate the socially excluded and minority groups of the population.
We must, namely, to make every effort for the creation of a society of cohesion and solidarity.
Besides, all the wise rulers -in the exercise of public power – never forget that: “…he who sows the wind, shall reap the whirlwind._
