Handcuffs to 18-year-olds for juvenile pornography: Child sexual abuse footage seized

From the Address an 18-year-old was arrested in Athens for online. At the expense of the 18-year-old arrested by the Electronic Crime DEA a criminal case was formed for child pornography, via the Internet. In his possession they were found and confiscated a mobile phone, SIM card and a hard computer disk. In order to investigate the case, a thorough and thorough digital analysis and exploitation of data and information came to the knowledge of the Greek police by foreign agencies, as part of international police cooperation. Thus, the 18-year-old, who gained access to a website – application, was identified, through which he communicated to other online users that he held a number of files with child sexual abuse material, which he was willing to share, either through sale, or through exchange with corresponding material content. Data and information were brought to the attention of the Athens District Attorney’s Office and after contacting the internet service providers, as the further police investigation resulted in the data and residence of the 18-year-old. Investigations were followed at the defendant’s home, in the presence of a judicial officer, in which a mobile phone device, SIM card and a hard computer disk were found and seized. In fact, from the on-the-spot check on the digital evidence held by the 18-year-old, a multitude of material (photographs and videos) of sexual abuse of minors was found, which is why he was arrested in the context of the self-evident process. The confiscated digital evidence will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Directorate for further laboratory tests. The arrester, with the case-file formed against him, was taken to the competent prosecutor and referred to a main interrogation.
