According to the decision signed by the Secretary of state for Social Security, mr. Anastasios Petropoulos, occurs a reduction of up to 4% on contributions paid by employees and employers for the sector main pension from 1/1/2017 to PPC, OTE, ISAP.
In the Ministerial Decision, which sets out the new scheme of contributions to former SOES is projected from 1/1/2017, PPC, social contributions will be reduced by 1.9 percentage points, while employers ‘ contributions by 2.1 units. Overall, that will lead to a decrease of 4% on contributions on gross earnings of workers in PPC, and, therefore, a corresponding increase of 4% on net earnings.
In fact, this increase will not run out only this year, but will continue until 2020, reaching a cumulative 13%.

So the contributions for the employees in the ISAP will fall from 1/1/2017 2% and respectively will increase the net earnings. Gradually until 1/1/2020, the employer’s contributions for employees of the ISAP will reach 13,33%, while the workers ‘ contributions will reach the of 6.67%. Cumulatively, that is, the 2017-2020, the workers in the ISAP will see reduced their contributions by 7.9% and the corresponding rate will see increased take-home pay.
