Georgiadis reaction to the beating of EKAB man at Corinth hospital

The reaction of Health Minister Adoni Georgiades was provoked by his brutal beating of his husband in Corinth, with the WTODI calling for dramatic measures in relation to incidents of violence against health care. From his beating by strangers inside the Corinth hospital, the EKAB man bears severe head trauma and is still hospitalized. The Minister of Health instructed the EKAB to proceed with legal action and wished the rescue officer pass. “Unacceptable fact I instructed the EKAB to take all possible legal actions. Thank you for her immediate intervention. Get well with our rescuer,” wrote A. Georgiades. Inadmissible fact, I have instructed the EMCDDA to take all possible legal steps. I thank ELAS for her immediate intervention. Get well with our rescuer — Adonis Georgiadis (@AdonisGeorgiadi) “From the heroism of the plenipotentiaries we had no dead” “From the heroism of colleagues we had no dead. However, he was seriously injured by a fellow crew member of the EKAB and admitted for hospitalization. May I wish through my heart to the colleagues of the Corinth hospital and especially to the colleague who was injured,” says WTODINA President Michael Giannakos. The incident All occurred at 06:00 on Saturday afternoon, when at the entrance of the Emergency (TEP) of Corinth hospital a group of 4-5 people (Roma according to the WTODI’s assessment), who accompanied a patient from Kiato, approached the EKAB worker and attacked him, for an indistinguishable reason so far. The pre-combatments were generalized and at the point they rushed strong police forces, but they did not have time to make arrests, as the perpetrators had fled. “Two other colleagues – a hospital guard and a doctor – had a lot of beating and they also bear injuries but they are not in danger. The partner who was seriously injured had nothing to do with them. Guards, doctors, nurses, and EMCDDA rescuers ran for help. What can you do? They got a lot of wood. Fortunately we did not have any dead colleagues,” adds the President of the WTO. The perpetrators made it before they disappeared and made material damage to the ambulance. “At last do something Colleagues cannot recover. They will kill us and measures none”, concludes Michael Giannakos.
