Gaza: 7 persons drowned in trying to get humanitarian aid from the sea

Seven people drowned in its northern part in their attempt to take the plane into the sea. The 6 died yesterday, Monday (25.03.2024), and a seventh succumbed today to his injuries in the Gaza Strip in his attempt to get humanitarian aid, clarified the ministry. Moreover, according to the same source and eyewitnesses, Israeli troops have today surrounded the al Nasser hospital complex in the town of Han Eunice, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Dozens of armored vehicles and tanks have surrounded the complex since the morning, declared eyewitnesses reporting for shooting. “The army is besieging the al Nasser hospital complex,” the Hamas Health Ministry pointed out in a statement. It referred to “violent operations around (from the hospital)”, as Israel’s army “preparing for attack on medical, technical and administrative personnel and against the thousands displaced remaining inside.” Palestinian Red Crescent had reported on tank movements around the hospital as early as Sunday. The Israeli army has not responded to an AFP request to comment on this information. Israeli troops regularly conduct operations in Gaza Strip hospitals, on the grounds that they are looking for Palestinian militants. The army has been operating since March 18 around and inside the al-Sifa hospital in Gaza, the largest hospital complex in the northern part of the Palestinian enclave, where it has announced that it has killed more than 150 Palestinian militants.
