Found 104 new planets!

An international team of scientists studying the data of the mission Kepler and using various powerful ground-based telescopes have detected 104 new exoplanets, bringing the number to about 3.5 thousand…
Detected, a system in which there are 4 rocky planets with a size similar to that on Earth with some experts estimating that some of them probably have conditions friendly to life.
“The variety of planets we have detected are stunning. We’ve spotted many planets with size and characteristics similar to those of the Earth. Others are close to their parent star and develop very high temperatures, but some others look more friendly to life,” says Evan Σινούκοφ an astronomer at the University of Hawaii who was a member of the research team.
The most interesting system that has been identified is located at a distance of about 181 light from us in the direction of the constellation of Aquarius. The system consists of the star K2-72, which is a red dwarf, i.e. a star of a smaller mass and heat from the Sun. The system identified 4 rocky planets with a size of 20%-50% larger than that of the Earth. The two of them are very close to the star and develop very high temperatures prohibitive for the presence of life. The other two however are a little further away and within the so-called habitable zone of the star. The region where a rocky planet, water could exist in liquid form of a treaty which is considered as the most important for the presence of life.
