(Title) The Spanish Prime Minister Jose Zapatero said Monday he strongly supports the formulation of a “resonant EU common position” on the situation in Gaza and the exclusion applied by Israel.
After his meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, H. Zapatero stressed that “our desire is to establish a resounding unanimous EU position towards what is happening in Gaza and the humanitarian situation in that area.”
also stressed the Minister Migel Angel Moratinos Exoterikony be proposed Monday ‘Council of Foreign Ministers to speak out clearly the EU towards the end of the blockade of the Gaza Strip and to develop in that direction every diplomatic and political activity ».
