Florina: 2nd station of the social initiative “ΠροΣfEEρουμε” for the support of vulnerable social groups of our country

Having the focus of their philosophy the man and as the aim of meaningful contribution and social solidarity, the hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (sfee), the Hellenic Red Cross (E.E.P.) have joined forces in a common vision that contributes to the treatment of social inequalities, by opening their arms to vulnerable social groups, in every remote spot of the country.
The journey of the “προσΣfΕΕρουμε”, which had as the first station of the island of Rhodes (October 2016), arrived on Saturday 26 November 2016 to the second destination, the town of Florina. The mission of the “προσΣfΕΕρουμε” visited the Centre for Social Welfare, Region of Western Macedonia and gave the smile of the 27 children who are accommodated by providing school supplies, toys, consumables and sanitary materials, as well as a full pharmacy. At the same time, implemented training course first Aid for the emergency response.
In a joint Press Conference of the Presidents of the Greek Red Cross and of the Association of Pharmaceutical Enterprises of Greece, which was held at the Headquarters of the Regional Unit of Florina, the President of the health policy of Paschalis Apostolidis said: “The second trip ΠροσΣfΕΕρουμε filling our hearts with joy and pride, but mostly with optimism for the future. With the active support of our we build a society of solidarity and offer, investing in the future of our country. In a time test, not only for the economy, but mainly for the same society, we envision the arms of the ΠροσΣfΕΕρουμε to reach every citizen in need”.
The President of the Greek Red Cross Dr. Antonios Avgerinos said: “Today, we have a great reason to smile, and he is none other than the realization of the second voyage of ΠροσΣfΕΕρουμε in our big trek in all the border areas of our country. The missions that we have completed in Rose and Florina demonstrate our commitment to this common vision of humanity, that we share with health policy, while flying the modern αλληλέγυο and social footprint.E.P.”.
At this point it is worth to underline that a particularly warm was the welcome from both the President of Uh.E.P. and the mission of the health policy, not only by the President, the Members of the board.P., the volunteers and the volunteers of the Local Section E.E.P. Florina, but also by his Eminence Metropolitan of Florina, Prespes and Eordea, mr Theoklitos, Met mr. Stephen Biro, the municipal and military authorities of the city and the presidents of local bodies. Particularly moving was the event in honor of the mission, where both the speeches and the special video, captured with accuracy the work of the Greek Red Cross, have demonstrated the great offer and history of the Volunteers of the Local Department of Florina. Commendable was also the impeccable teachings-seminars on first Aid, presented by the nurse-trainer.E.P. mrs. Peace Γρατσία and the social worker.E.P. mrs. Catherine Κουκούτση.
The social initiative “ΠροσΣfΕΕρουμε” participating companies members of the health policy of: AbbVie, Angelini, Bayer, Genesis Pharma, Merck, Pharmaserve-Lilly, Vianax, as well as the Association of Medical and Biotechnological Products (ΣΕΙΒ) proceeded to donations of consumable materials with the companies members: Anastasios Blackbeard, Pulse and Paul Arnaoutis.
