Farantouris: Montaise number 2 in my statements

The Professor of European Law and Counsel of his President, Nikos Farantouris, performs what he said and stirs up a storm of reactions. In a statement Nikos Farantouris says: “Allergic shock has caused New Democracy and the prime minister conclave the possibility that the investigation of the Prosecutorial Authorities (European and Greek) will shed light on the crime of the Tempes and lead to full popular delegislation of the dilipsing daily Government of Mitsotakis”. And he continues: “This proves the fierce attempt to discredit the European Public Prosecutor’s Office by the Government in order not to drop light as well as Montaise No.2 for my statements as Professor of European Law and Counsel of the President of SYRIZA-PS”. In his statement he concludes: “And YES: The prosecutor’s investigation from wherever it comes from can and must shed light on opaque procedures and the clarification of scandals and crimes and lead to political developments and recourse to the popular verdict, as is the case in every favoured state. Justice will be done. Democracy will win”. It is recalled that on a television show Mr. Farantouris said: “The European prosecutor is a well-known prestigious woman, whom some tried to deconstruct, as a personality and an institution”. “Laura Kovesi threw the government in Romania,” added Mr. Farantouris and in a journalist’s remark “and what do you want? Throw the government in Greece?” SYRIZA executive replied: “It would be a wish work I would tell you… If it hides scandals yes, if it doesn’t want to solve cases.” She then referred to a statement: “We are blocked from finding the truth, from applying justice. Because if they forbid you to do research you cannot reveal the truth.” This was followed by the observation of the N.D. MP. Kostas Karagounis, who participated in the same panel: “Do you know that there is a memory of the Supreme Court telling Mrs. Kovesi to deal with your responsibilities?” with Mr. Farantouris answering: “Well, what does that mean? The Supreme Ice in the junta said the Revolution prevails…”.
