Event Kapodistrias in Patras

a pleasure to enjoy a really beautiful event dedicated to the first governor of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias.
A short greeting at the event, was addressed by the representative of the I. M. Patras Πανοσιολογιότατος Archimandrite e. Christoforos Mytilene. The event started with the presentation of the documentary titled “Ioannis Kapodistrias: The life, the fights, and the praises of the first National Commander of Greece”. It was a 30 minute video, which is a composition of extracts from the documentaries of a total duration of 7 hours. The first speaker was Archpriest and vicar of the Metropolitan Church-Aegina e. Emmanuel Giannoulis on the theme: “The Persistence of as a model Christian leader”. The e. Emmanuel highlighted in his speech the virtues of Ioannis Kapodistrias, while it has been and rich photographic material collected. The second speaker was mr Charalambos Μηνάογλου, doctor of modern history, department of History and Archaeology.K.E.A, with the theme: “the exercise of policy as an act of supreme sacrifice for the motherland”. Mr. Μηνάογλου argued, among other things, all those elements that make him ‘ stand out as a political leader in the passage of time. Both speakers kept undiminished the interest of the attendees with the living word.
The event was attended by the Abbot of the historic Monastery of Ομπλού). e. Nektarios Κωτσάκης, the Dean and head of the I. N. Saint Andrew of Patras e. Nikolaos Σκιαδαρέσης, many reverend Fathers of the Holy Metropolis of Patras, and a crowd of people. Notable was the presence of the p. Nikephoros who travelled from I. M. St. Athanasios of the Holy Metropolis of Σισανίου and Siatista.

After the end of the event was distributed to all attendees of the casket with the επτάωρο documentary by Ioannis Kapodistrias.
