Erdogan for a massacre in Moscow: We share the pain of the Russian people

The Turkish president referred to the massacre in the central election rally of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Ankara. “On behalf of the country and my nation, I extend our condolences to the Russian government for the terrorist attack on a concert hall in Moscow yesterday. We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack targeting innocent citizens,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. Continuing he said: “Terror is unacceptable wherever it comes from, whoever is the perpetrator. As a country that knows very well the bloody and traitorous face of terrorism, we share the pain of the Russian people as a nation, as a state. We will continue our fight against terrorism, the common enemy of humanity.” Reference to the Asia Minor War and Greece, but without naming it directly, contained the attack launched by Recep Tayyip Erdogan against the opposition at the central election rally of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). “A century ago, the enemy had been at Ankara’s gates. The echo of the strong will shown in those difficult days when the sounds of the cannons were heard by the Parliament in the Ulus (ed. area of the ‘Anchura’) is still alive,” said the Turkish president, adding: “(Furthermore), in every step we have taken to raise and strengthen our country, to expand the rights and freedoms of our nation, to increase the welfare of our people, we have encountered many secret and obvious obstacles. Some of these have been eliminated without letting them spread and some have been surpassed by paying a price.” Recep Tayyip Erdogan concluded by saying: “Unfortunately, there were hypocrites who supported the games of imperialists who wanted to kneel down to our country and subdue us. Such mechanisms once appeared as manipulative instruments, sometimes as terrorist organizations, sometimes as couparies, sometimes as politicians, social or economic disruptors of unrest.”
