EOPY: A contract was signed for home physiotherapy – How to determine the patient’s participation

The following months of negotiations came to an important agreement with the . Specifically the new Collective Convention was signed between the EEAY and the Pan-Hellenic Association of Physiotherapists for the provision of physiotherapy services in laboratories and at home. The agreement was signed on Thursday (21.03.2024) at the offices of the Central Office of the EEAY. The purpose of the Collective Convention is to provide full nationwide coverage of physical therapy services to beneficiaries of the EOP. The provision of the maximum permitted limit of physiotherapy sessions per month, primarily ensures that patients are provided with integrated and quality services by persons bearing the professional title of the physiotherapist and can legally perform physiotherapist functions, as stated by the Agency The CEO of EOPY, Mr. T. Karpotini and the President of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists, Mr. P. Lyberidis, welcomed the launch of a new basis of cooperation with effective shielding the provision of services by health professionals.
