ELSTAT: 82.1% of job vacancies increased in the last quarter of 2023

In the last quarter of 2023 compared to the corresponding period of 2022 (38,111 and 20,927 respectively), according to the figures of ELSTAT, in the last quarter of 2022 there had been an increase of 42,2% in vacant jobs, compared to 2021. It is noted that a job vacancy is considered a newly created position, an already vacant position or a position to be vacant soon, for which the employer has recently taken drastic action to find a suitable candidate, outside the business, and which is available either directly or in the immediate/near future. It is noted that job vacancies only concern employees. Jobs to be filled by: apprentices without pay, employers or any social security institution contractors who are not in the pay situation staff who are rehired or returned from paid leave or unpaid internal movements in the undertaking of the existing staff.
