Egnatia Street: What are the new toll values – Signatures for GEK TERNA – Egis

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, on average, continued its adjustment to levels up to 30% in view of the signing of the motorway concession agreement at the GEK TERNA-EGIS consortium. In particular, the Joint Ministerial Decision (CYA) of the Ministers of National Economy and Finance and Infrastructure & Transport was published on the “Readjustment of tolls on Egnatia Road and vertical axes (a) A/C Siatistas to the Crystalogia Frontier Station, (b) A/C Lagada/Serron to the Frontier Promaton Station, (c) A/C Halastras to the Ezon Frontier Station”. This unfinished business was a key prerequisite for the signing of the 35-year concession agreement. The next step is the ratification of the Convention by Parliament. The GEK TERNA – Egis consortium will undertake the maintenance and operation of the 658 km long road, as well as the 3 vertical roads of 225 km long, which are connections of Egnatia Road with neighbouring countries (Albania, North Macedonia and Bulgaria). In paragraph 5 of Article 2 of the DNSB/OC/27840/FN393/13. 05.2020 joint decision of the Ministers for Economic and Infrastructure and Transport (B’2018), it is stated that before signing the concession contract the toll fees set out in Annex III will be adjusted, we decide: 1.
