The main conclusions from the implementation of the project was the following :
There is a huge general lack of information around the prevention of waste in the municipalities of the country.
There is a need for targeted plans and actions of prevention according to the specific needs and possibilities of each municipality.
It was found the need for the central administration and the central bodies of Local self-Government to take initiatives for the financing and implementation of many prevention actions.
Because many prevention activities implemented at no cost and at the same time reduce the production of waste, can contribute considerably to the huge problem of waste management, in this very difficult and adverse economic situation currently being experienced in our country.
Everyone involved with the management of waste we have to work very systematically, and to include in a targeted and effective manner to the PREVENTION of WASTE as the main part of the solution to the problem of waste.
