‘ At the beginning of the second quarter of 2024 he will open it for 20,000 new positions 18 – 29 years of age nationwide,” the Deputy Governor of Vassilis Georgiades announced in an interview. “Last time it had a huge impact and absorption,” said the DYPA commander. “At the same time they will open employment programmes targeted in some areas in Western Macedonia and Megalopoli 1000 places, for all ages with 12 months duration, due to the delignitization track,” he stressed. “From the programmes that will “run” in 2024, we aim to create 50,000 jobs and at the moment there is no public service programme, without – of course – being excluded. This is because so far we are running the programme over 55 concerning both legal persons governed by public law and OTAs a’ and a second degree, meaning private enterprises’, added Mr Georgiadis. “It is a programme that is very successful, because it has already employed 10,000 of our fellow citizens at this sensitive age, and at the beginning of next month there are 5,000 new positions. We try the programs we make to be targeted and to age groups that really need them, making the “pairing” both with the private sector and with the legal persons of public law,” Vasilis Georgiadis completed.
