The expert analysis of data, Nathan Yau has designed an application, which presents in detail the “popular” causes of death by age. The data come from the files of the american Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The application is considered to be representative mainly for the population of the united states as it analyzes all of the death certificates of Americans who lost their lives between 1999 and 2014, reports the Uk Metro.
But how does it work? You first need to select the gender, nationality and age. The application begins to produce results for the possible causes of death by age. Each dot that appears in the table represents one of the possible causes of death depending on age.
The evidence suggests, as one would expect, that death at a young age are more likely to occur due to some external cause rather than due to illness.
