Dimitris Koutsolioutsos: “They brought me a bench and said sign” – “George did not deal with Asia”

For the third meeting of the Trimel Court of Appeals of Athens, Dimitris’s apology for its falsified balance sheets continued. Defending Dimitris Koutsolioutsos of the turnover of Folli Follie’s company and the success he had achieved in Asia, he stressed that the companies that undertook to control the Group’s finances did not go anywhere. “They didn’t do anything. Most of the evidence was from interviews. I question all the numbers. They had them check out the whole group and they only checked out the Kucholucho family and the company was lost by it. And of course, we as a family are in panic. I immediately resigned. I had to sit at the company’s wheel. That they said 430 were eaten in favor of the family is unimaginable. They put the word “Doo-Doo-doo” and they got all the make news out of the world… When in China the temporary administration suddenly closed down all the stores, it left all employees unpaid and did not even inform them. They said Folli Follie fell victim to the covid. There are ten companies in China that have copied Folli Follie. It was the only company that managed and entered all these markets,” Dimitris Koutsolioutsos said in the third part of his apology, emotionally charged. The founder of the company referred to a prejudice against the company and said his co-defendants had nothing to do with it, including his son and his wife. However, he blamed two persons against whom arrest warrants have been issued. He is the Regional Director of the Asian subsidiary FFGS and the former Financial Director of the Asian Sub-Group, to whom he attributed the idea of increasing turnover in financial statements. Regarding his son, Georgie, the patriarch of the company said that he had taken over the group in Europe and did not deal at all with the Asian group. President: Your co-defendants tell you that he went often… Give you passports if you want. He wasn’t coming. George wasn’t even coming to the office. Now if he was talking to T… he was in general duty. (…) George knew about the part of the unified situations, that the turnover seemed more like it. We fought a lot about it. He told me it was wrong big. Concerning his wife, he said that the title of vice president and executive member of her board was rendered “honored dueen”. In response to questions from the president, however, Dimitris Koutsolioutsos denied the charges attributed to him while regarding the forged documents he said: “Was there any reason to exist? I think not. The two auditors who controlled all companies from the beginning, asked for these documents to be covered by any checks by Hong Kong tax authorities. When we even called them, they had no contact and this has been said in court. My life in Hong Kong was to go to the factories, start the clockwork. For economics, I have no idea, the moment other people are on it with their team. Every time I brought me a paco and they said to me “Mr. Dimitris, you have to sign the blues.” Dimitris Koutsolioutsos’ apology continues on April 3.
