Danny Alves free: Half the million he paid and the restraining terms

Overturn in the case. The veteran Brazilian footballer comes out of prison, as he paid the guarantee of a million euros, while he must comply with a number of restrictive terms. The Barcelona Court agreed to release Danny Alves on a one-million guarantee, until his sexual assault case against a 23-year-old was tried to a second degree. “I believe in justice, I will not escape, I will always be at your disposal,” Alves said at the hearing, with the D.A.’s side pointing out that it is negative to the request as he judged him a flight suspect. However, it was imposed on him to appear in court once a week. Alves was convicted by the Spanish authorities of sexual assault on a 23-year-old girl, in December 2022. He’s been in prison for the past 15 months, with the Barcelona court condemning him to 4,5 years.
