Criteria for the relevance of post-Graduate and Doctoral degrees in Special Education

1. The postgraduate degree has been obtained from the Department or Department of Humanities UNIVERSITIES or TEI, or by…
other Parts and has educational or pedagogical application to the CFC.
2. The study time in full-time education is at least 3 semesters, i.e. to have 90 ECTS. The curriculum includes practice in structures of Special Education. At the time of study to include practical exercise, at least 20 ECTS.
3. The internship is implemented in school units of special education or/and schools of general education where pupils with disabilities or special educational needs.
The internship is certified by the supervisor and the person responsible for the school unit and shall be accompanied by a calendar/sign-up sheet.
The internship includes observation, planning of courses, or educational interventions, involvement in teaching, and not necessarily supervised independent teaching or educational intervention as defined by the applicable legislation.
Not accepted: practical exercises distance learning, case studies, private educational interventions.
The experience is not considered a practical exercise.
4. The 6/9 of the courses (including dissertation and internship) or 60 of the 90 required credit units ECTS of the Programme of Study to be relevant for the categories of disability or special educational needs as defined in the law 3699/2008, Article 3 or in the applicable legislation for the CFC.
