The intense noise and immediately after the “manitari” smoke created in the wider area of the Volis Field in Cape Verde, caused great concern to those who saw it. The explosion occurred at noon on Monday (1,04,2024) with smoke emerging behind the mountains, in Chania, Crete. It should be noted that the same explosion had also occurred on Saturday morning, with local residents hearing a very loud noise and then seeing smoke rise. See photos from today’s event:
