Continued operation of Day Care Centers for the Elderly (day centre) of the Region of Attica

The continued operation of Day Care Centers for the Elderly – day centre, for even one year, secured by the Governor of the Attica region, Rena Δούρου. In particular, signed the relevant Invitation, budget to 960,000 euro, which refers to the submission of proposals to the Regional Operational Programme “ATTIKI” 2014 – 2020, which is part of the investment priority 9iv, for the priority axis 09, entitled “Enhancing access to affordable, sustainable and high-quality services, including health care and social services of general interest”, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
Object is the provision of Day Care Centres for the Elderly (day centre), day care services to elderly people not able to look after themselves completely (motor difficulties, dementia, etc.), of which the family environment that the takes care of, works or is facing serious social and economic problems or health problems and is unable to respond to the care that has been taken.
It should be noted that the potential beneficiaries of the Call are specific Municipalities in the Region (Municipality Acharnon, Marathon, Κρωπίας, Lavreotiki, Agia Varvara, Painter, Philadelphia – Chalkidona, Daphne – Hymettus, Korydallos), to whom are already structures a day centre with co-financing from the programming period 2007 – 2013, as well as PUBLIC entities such and private law non-profit, Municipal Corporations and Municipal Utility Companies. 3463/2006, which are legally licensed and have the ability to provide these services, in accordance with the institutional and regulatory framework governing the establishment and operation of them.
It is noted that the period for submitting proposals is from 30.06.2016 to 05.09.2016.
