Continent: Protest on the schedules of the soldiers in the centres hosting migrants

A letter to the minister of Vitsa and the members of the Continent sends to the Union Military Region of Epirus, in protest of the…
schedules of soldiers in the centres hosting migrants.
The letter states: we know that due to the operation of many centres hosting migrants in Regional unit of Ioannina has increased the number of 24-hour services of colleagues from the beginning of April…
This fact has put a burden on the working hours and the working conditions of the Military and the soldiers who serve the term of office in the border area of the Continent with the result that there is a lot of overtime for all staff, in addition to the 40 hours of labour supply per week that applies to the personnel of the Armed Forces as you have stated yourself with the relevant answer in the House.
Our Union is proposing to provide directly the corresponding hours of discharge to the entire staff that runs 24 hours services so that the working hours may not exceed 40 hours a week as is stipulated by the legislation .
Finally, mr. Minister, to bring you back to the request of our Union and of the pan-Hellenic Coordinating Armed Forces (US.P.E.D.) you partake of to meeting with you in order to put our proposals to the set of problems that concern Military personnel.
