Complaint with WTO local authorities: THE Municipality of Egaleo does not apply to the working hours of the kindergartens – a Warning to other municipalities

The head of SYRIZA in (KEDE), mayor of Egaleo, Dimitris Μπίρμπα denounces the… WTO OTA with its communication for a violation of the working hours of the kindergarten.
Bear in mind that the issue of opening hours of childcare facilities provided in the parallel program, recently passed in the House.

“Hours after the passing of law.4368/2016 “Measures for the acceleration of the government’s project and other provisions”, article 8, para.2b is provided for the reset of the 6ωρης employment in the Pedagogical staff of Municipal kindergartens appeared the first cases, fortunately few, refusal of application of the above provision.
Among these the Municipality of Egaleo. The Association of Workers of the Municipality with a statement calling on the Administration to implement IMMEDIATELY and without equivocation the Law.
We call on the Associations-Members of the Federation, where there are problems of direct application of the device to intervene and to inform the Federation.
We make it clear towards every direction that the provision relates to the entire industry of Teaching staff (E.E., T.E. and D.E.) and regardless of the employment relationship governed by Public Law, Private Law open-ended and Fixed-term!!! That exactly was the case until June 2011, where it was voted the extension to forty (40) hours of the hours of the Pedagogical staff of Municipal kindergartens.
We call directly the Municipality of Egaleo, and anyone else who gets elected and “official” agents try to misinterpret the Law not to do so. We call on them to implement the 6-hours in total Teaching staff, without any further delay.
We cover trade union and we call on the workers-Teachers directly to implement the 6-hour employment without further debate, without a further negotiation!!! The reset of the 6ωρου in the Pedagogical staff of Municipal kindergartens is a result of the struggle of the workers and didn’t negotiate with anyone!!! Besides, let’s not forget, when it was repealed the 6-hours in 2011, none of the elected don’t wait for the interpretative circular on the implementation of the Law.
The struggle of all workers for the abolition of article 41 of the New york.3979/2011 and reset the working hours for the rest of the staff in 37,5 continues… and will he be victorious!!!”
