(Title) The draft Law on Lifelong Learning, who will shape the new framework for all learning activities outside the formal education system, presented yesterday at the Cabinet Education Minister Anna Diamantopoulou.

In the configuration of the project include the National Qualifications Framework which will connect with new training requirements in the labor market (categorization of any relevant qualifications and professional rights of association), which is mainly a reaction by colleges.
According to information, colleges ranked lower than tertiary institutions in post-secondary levels of education (fifth) and possibly a class above the Liberal Studies Centers for their cooperation with foreign universities . Executive agencies in the new system will be:
a) The National Accreditation Centre (EKEPIS), which has the power of certification / licensing education structures (institutions, trainers).
b) The Agency accreditation (an evolution of the EPBD ), which would assume responsibility for the Qualifications Framework and the recognition / accreditation of qualifications.
c) The National Centre for Vocational Guidance in an advisory capacity.

The bill provides for the existence of records (trainers , respondents), card lifelong learning and civic evrodiavatirio. While establishing various incentives such as:
a) Recognition and accreditation of prior learning, that all forms of formal, non formal education and informal learning to relate to each other and their results can be recognized and certified.
b) individual teachers accounts from which the employee can withdraw money to meet educational needs (to depositors with tax breaks, employers, government, workers themselves and others).
c) Individual accounts learning time. In cases where the employee overtime time deposit account for training purposes.
